Worldwide Mission Critical Hosts Data Center Open

Worldwide Mission Critical (WWMC), recently named #1 on the Washington Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Companies of 2025 list, hosted its biannual Data Center Open golf tournament on Monday, October 27 at River Creek Club. The event, launched in 2024, raised $100,000 in support of PGA Hope, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the physical, mental, social and emotional well-being of Veterans and Active Duty Military through the game of golf.

WWMC, a comprehensive firm serving the mission-critical data center industry, employs several veterans, making PGA Hope a natural beneficiary for the tournament. Event organizers shared that the charity’s mission resonated deeply with the company’s values and its team members.

“We are blessed and fortunate to be in the industry we are in today, and we believe in giving back to the community," said Brad Gray, WWMC’s Principal. “Supporting veterans who put their lives on the line for our safety each and every day is both meaningful and humbling.”

The event brought together more than 140 golfers, including data center developers and hyperscalers. Participants enjoyed a full day of golf, premium swag, catered meals and post-tournament networking opportunities. Volunteers from WWMC helped ensure a seamless experience, and raffle prizes added to the excitement.

“It was a wonderful day to golf, network, and support a worthy cause in a beautiful setting,” added Gray. “We are truly grateful to our generous sponsors, donors, volunteers and guests who made the tournament a success.”

Northern Virginia Firm Recognized for Exceptional Growth

October 23, 2025, HERNDON, VA – Worldwide Mission Critical has been recognized as the No. 1 company on the Washington Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Companies of 2025 list. The Herndon-based firm, which provides comprehensive project management, development, procurement, and owner’s representation services to the mission critical data center industry, achieved an average growth rate of 247 % over a two-year period.

Worldwide Mission Critical (WWMC) is honored to be named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s 2025 Great Places to Work, a prestigious list recognizing outstanding employers in the Washington, DC area.

On Monday, March 24, we had the pleasure of hosting the DCO Dallas Charity Golf Tournament at TPC Craig Ranch. From competitive play on the course to great conversations throughout the event, it was a fantastic way to bring our industry together.

This year’s tournament supported the Fisher House Foundation, a nonprofit that helps keep families close by providing free, comfortable housing near VA hospitals for loved ones of Veterans and service members receiving medical care. We’re proud to share that thanks to your contributions, we were able to donate $75,000 to support this incredible cause.

Accomplished Industry Veteran Will Lead New Department for Trailblazing Company

HERNDON, VA - Worldwide Mission Critical (WWMC), a comprehensive firm specializing in the mission-critical data center industry, has broadened its range of services by creating an Energy Systems Department . Greg Soller, an accomplished industry veteran with 25 years of experience in the field, will be working with utilities and other partners to reduce risk to projects and find innovative solutions for power delivery.

“We are thrilled to create an Energy Systems Department with Greg at the helm,” said Brad Gray, WWMC’s Managing Principal. “Greg’s extensive knowledge across all areas of power generation and transmission, particularly in resource planning, will allow him to lead the collaboration effort with our partners and develop forward-thinking solutions.”

WWMC’s expertise encompasses site selection, entitlements, programming, preconstruction, bidding, procurement, design management, commissioning, integrated testing, and construction oversight. The addition of the new Energy Services department will enable the company to help clients meet the growing power demands of the AI-driven data center market. The department will facilitate identifying and capitalizing on regions with favorable regulatory, economic, and technical conditions in order to optimize customers’ power utility costs while ensuring reliable and stable energy supplies.

The Data Center Industry looks vastly different today than it did back in the early 2000s when Soller began developing data centers. “As the industry has evolved, we’ve recognized there is a technological challenge to get this amount of power delivered. My role is to work with utilities in a collaborative way to come up with a solution that meets their goals and objectives, while also working to mitigate risk and delivering on our needs,” said Soller.

Soller will be primarily working in the Herndon, VA office.

Leesburg, VA – The WWMC Foundation, in partnership with E.E. Reed East Coast, hosted its inaugural Data Center Open charity golf tournament on October 28, 2024, at the prestigious River Creek Club in Leesburg, VA. The event brought together professionals from the data center industry, raising an impressive $100,000 for the Fisher House Foundation.

The tournament, which attracted a diverse group of attendees and sponsors in the data center industry, aimed to combine a passion for golf with a purpose.
